Sukko Spa wins the second awards for this year, “The award for exellent” : Hospitality Asia Plainum Awards (HAPA) – THAILAND SPA OF THE YEAR 2008-2010.

HOSPITALITY ASIA PLATINUM AWARDS (HAPA) recognizes and rewards the crème de la crème of the hospitality industry at all levels. Focusing on the people who strive ceaselessly to give guests a hospitality experience bar none, this signature soiree has become a much-anticipated event for hoteliers as well as businesses who work with the hospitality industry. Ken Harakuma is Coming

Ken Harakuma is Coming to Sukko Spa Phuket on Jan - Feb 09.

 
Ken Harakuma is the Director of Ashtanga Yoga Japan and co-founder of the International Yoga Center Japan. A surfer since high school, he has a black belt in Shorinji Kempo martial arts, has journeyed to the North Pole and climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro. His path led to health-related training – practising Tai chi, Thai Massage, Therapy & Chiropractic Sports Massage and Reiki Master Certification.

He has been practising yoga for many years and studies continuously with Sri K. Pattabhi Jois and R Sharath at the Ashtanga Yoga Research Institute in Mysore. Ken is the first Japanese teacher authorised by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois to teach the Ashtanga Vinyasa method. He is presently practising the Advanced Series under their guidance.

He supervised the translation (into Japanese) of Sriya Namaskar and Yoga Mala by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois and wrote “The Spirit of Ashtanga Yoga” (in Japanese).He also invited R Sharat to Japan 2005 & 2007 for WS at Tokyo.

He teaches Ashtanga Yoga for Beginners Levels 1,2,3 and Adjustment technique for Intermediate Level at the Asia Yoga Conference.

“สปาหู” ถึงเวลาต้องทบทวน

ผู้อำนวยการสำนักงานส่งเสริมธุรกิจบริการสุขภาพ กรมสนับสนุนบริการสุขภาพสถานการณ์เกี่ยวกับธุรกิจบริการสุขภาพในปัจจุบันยังคงมีการแข่งขันสูง จากรายงานของสำนักส่งเสริมธุรกิจบริการสุขภาพ มีสถานประกอบการที่ขึ้นทะเบียน เป็นสถานประกอบการธุรกิจบริการสุขภาพในการกำกับดูแลของสำนักงานส่งเสริมธุรกิจบริการสุขภาพ โดยกรมสนับสนุนบริการสุขภาพรวมทั้งสิ้น 1076 แห่งทั่วประเทศ โดย 347 แห่งอยู่ใน กรุงเทพฯ แสดงให้เห็นว่า มีผู้ที่ใส่ใจสุขภาพเลือกสถานประกอบการเพื่อสุขภาพเป็นทางเลือกหนึ่งในการดูแลสุขภาพตนเอง กระแสการทำสปาเป็นอีกทางเลือกหนึ่งผู้ใส่ใจในสุขภาพเพื่อการผ่อนคลาย จึงมี นวัตกรรมใหม่ๆ เข้ามาในวงการสปา รูปแบบการทำสปาในปัจจุบันมีพัฒนาการเพื่อให้ตรงกับใจลูกค้าอย่างมาก โดยบางครั้งอาจละเลยในเรื่องความปลอดภัยของผู้รับบริการล่าสุดก็มีบริการรูปแบบใหม่คือการทำ “สปาหู” จนเป็นที่นิยม เพราะมีการกล่าวอ้างว่าเป็นศาสตร์ดั้งเดิมที่ใช้ควันจากเทียนบำบัดนวดเส้นประสาทในหู และเชื่อมโยงไปส่วนต่าง ๆ ของร่างกาย โดยมีการโฆษณาว่าสามารถรักษาอาการของโรคได้หลายอย่าง ด้วยเหตุนี้จึงไม่แปลกใจเลย หากวันนี้ธุรกิจทำสปาหูจะมีการแข่งขันกันสูง เพราะนอกจากจะเป็นการบำบัดช่วยผ่อนคลายแล้ว ยังสามารถทำเงินให้ธุรกิจสปาเป็นอย่างมาก อัตราค่าบริการในการให้บริการ ประมาณ 500- 1,500 บาท ต่อครั้ง ขึ้นอยู่กับสถานที่ในการให้บริการนอกจากนี้ยังมีบริการ ซื้อเทียนหูแล้วกลับไปทำเองที่บ้าน โดยใช้เวลาสอนไม่เกิน 1 ชั่วโมง และยังมีสถานประกอบการภาคเอกชนหลายแห่งเปิดสอนการทำสปาหู ค่าใช้จ่ายในการเรียน ประมาณ 1500-4000บาท ต่อ 1 คอร์ส ขึ้นอยู่กับสถานที่ และระยะเวลาที่สอน การสอนเพื่อไปประกอบอาชีพ มักจะใช้เวลาการเรียนการสอน 30 ชั่วโมง – 60 ชั่วโมง ซึ่งหลักสูตรการเรียนการสอนจะแตกต่างกันไปแล้วแต่สถาบันซึ่งหลักสูตรการเรียนการสอนสปาหูนี้ ยังไม่ได้ผ่านการรับรองหลักสูตรจากคณะกรรมการกลางของ กรมสนับสนุนบริการสุภาพ กระทรวงสาธารณสุข

ตามที่สำนักงานส่งเสริมธุรกิจบริการสุขภาพ กรมสนับสนุนบริการสุขภาพ กระทรวงสาธารณสุข ซึ่งดูแลสถานประกอบการเพื่อสุขภาพมีมาตรฐานในการควบคุม กำกับ ดูแล สถานประกอบการธุรกิจบริการสุขภาพ ซึ่ง มี 3 ประเภท ได้แก่ สปาเพื่อสุขภาพ นวดเพื่อสุขภาพ และนวดเพื่อเสริมสวย ซึ่งจากการกระทำดังกล่าว ยังไม่มีรายงานผลการศึกษายืนยันว่าสามารถช่วยบำบัดโรคต่างๆที่กล่าวมา จะมีก็เพียงแค่ ให้ผลทางด้านจิตใจ ช่วยให้ผ่อนคลายเท่านั้น ส่วนต่างประเทศ มีรายงานอันตรายจากการทำ สปาหูคือ การBurn จากไฟ ที่จุดขณะ ทำสปาหู การเกิดภาวะ อุดตันจาก ขี้ผึ้งร้อนที่ละลายแล้วหยดลงไปในหู และมีบางรายเกิด ภาวะ แก้วหูทะลุได้ จากการศึกษาของประเทศแคนาดา ที่ทำการสำรวจ ผู้ที่เคยทำสปาหู ทั้งสิ้น 122 ราย มีรายงาน

- การบาดเจ็บจากการ Burn 13 ราย
- มีการอุดตันของรูหู จากขี้ผึ้งของเทียนสปา 7 ราย
- เกิดภาวะ แก้วหู ทะลุ 1 ราย

ปัญหาและอันตรายจากการทำสปาหู

1. ข้อความ ” สปาหู” เป็นข้อความที่ใช้โฆษณาเกินจริง จากการข้อมูลการแบ่งแยกประเภท ของสถานประกอบการ ซึ่งมี 3 ประเภท ตามที่กล่าวมาแล้วนั้น คำว่าสปาจะใช้ได้ ต่อเมื่อสถานประกอบการนั้นผ่านการรับรองมาตรฐาน ทั้ง 5 ด้าน โดยสถานประกอบการสปาเพื่อสุขภาพหมายถึงการประกอบกิจการที่ให้การดูแลและเสริมสร้างสุขภาพและการใช้น้ำเพื่อสุขภาพ โดยบริการหลักที่จัดไว้ให้ประกอบด้วย การนวดเพื่อสุขภาพ และการใช้น้ำเพื่อสุขภาพโดยอาจมีบริการเสริมประกอบด้วย เช่น การอบเพื่อสุขภาพ การออกกำลังกายเพื่อสุขภาพ โภชนบำบัด และการควบคุมอาหาร โยคะและการทำสมาธิ การใช้สมุนไพรหรือผลิตภัณฑ์เพื่อสุขภาพ เพื่อเป็นบริการเสริมจากการนวด จึงจะสามารถเปิดเป็นสปาเพื่อสุขภาพได้ กล่าวได้ว่า กรรมวิธีการใช้เทียนจุดแล้วสอดเข้าช่องหู จึงไม่เข้าข่ายว่าเป็นสปาหู ได้จึงไม่ควรใช้ข้อความ “สปา ” กับการให้บริการชนิดนี้และไม่ควรจะมีการให้บริการชนิดนี้อยู่สถานประกอบการเพื่อสุขภาพ ซึ่งอยู่ในความกำกับควบคุมดูแล ของกรมสนับสนุนบริการสุขภาพ

2. วัสดุอุปกรณ์ที่ใช้ในการทำสปาหู ยัง ไม่มีหน่วยงานใดเข้ามาคุ้มครองมามาตรฐานในการผลิตไม่มีการยอมรับว่าวัสดุที่นำมาใช้เป็นวัสดุที่ทำมาอย่างมีคุณภาพ สามารถนำมาทำได้โดยไม่เกิดอันตรายได้อย่างไร และอาจเข้าข่ายเป็นเครื่องมือแพทย์ 3. ผู้ให้บริการไม่มีความรู้ความสามารถเพียงพอและไม่มีมาตรฐานในการให้บริการ และการกระทำดังกล่าวเข้าข่ายการประกอบโรคศิลปะตามมาตรา 4 โดยอาศัยศาสตร์หรือความรู้จากต่างประเทศ ซึ่งการให้บริการในประเทศไทยต้องได้รับอนุญาต ตาม พระราชบัญญัติ การประกอบโรคศิลปะ พ.ศ.2542 ปัจจุบันยังไม่มีการศึกษาอย่างชัดเจนในศาสตร์นี้ ในประเทศไทย แต่มีภาคเอกชน ผู้ประกอบการได้ตั้งเป็นสถาบันสอนฝึกอบรบโดยที่หลักสูตรที่ไม่ผ่านการรับรองจากคณะกรรมการสถานประกอบการกลาง ของกรมสนับสนุนบริการสุขภาพ กระทรวงสาธารณสุข บางแห่งมีการขายเทียนหูพร้อมกับสอนวิธีการทำเพื่อนำไปใช้เองที่บ้านได้ หรือบอกต่อๆ กัน ก็สามารถทำได้แล้ว แต่ไม่ถูกวิธี ซึ่งการกระทำดังกล่าว เข้าข่ายการประกอบโรค ศิลปะได้ เมื่อผู้ให้บริการไม่มีความรู้ความชำนาญ ก็เกิดผลเสียต่อผู้รับบริการได้

4. มีการโอ้อวด การโฆษณาเกินจริงอ้างว่าสามารถบำบัด รักษาโรคต่างๆ ได้หลายโรคทำให้ประชาชนหลงผิดเสียเงินเพื่อไปทำ แต่ไม่สามารถแก้ปัญหาสุขภาพได้

5. อาจก่อให้เกิดอันตรายต่อหูได้ ในการทำโดยผู้ที่ไม่มีความชำนาญและไม่ระมัดระวังอาจเกิดอาการไหม้จากความร้อนที่ใช้จุดเทียนและอาจเกิดขี้ผึ้งร้อนหยดลงไปในหูเกิดภาวะขี้ผึงร้อนของเทียนหยดลงในช่องหู เป็นอันตรายต่อช่องหู ทำให้หูอักเสบได้

ดังนั้นผู้บริโภค ควรดูตราสัญลักษณ์ สถานประกอบการเพื่อสุขภาพที่ผ่านการรับรองตามมาตรฐานของสถานประกอบการธุรกิจบริการสุขภาพ ของสำนักงานส่งเสริมธุรกิจบริการสุขภาพ กรมสนับสนุนบริการสุขภาพ กระทรวงสาธารณสุข ซึ่งดูแลสถานประกอบการเพื่อสุขภาพและมีหน้าที่ในการควบคุม กำกับ ดูแล สถานประกอบการธุรกิจบริการสุขภาพ ซึ่ง มี 3 ประเภท ได้แก่ สปาเพื่อสุขภาพ นวดเพื่อสุขภาพ และนวดเพื่อเสริมสวยให้ผ่านการรับรองมาตรฐาน ทั้ง 5 ด้าน อันได้แก่ มาตรฐานด้านสถานที่ มาตรฐานการให้บริการ มาตรฐานผู้ดำเนินการ มาตรฐานผู้ให้บริการและมาตรฐานด้านความปลอดภัย

นอกจากนั้นสำนักงานส่งเสริมธุรกิจบริการสุขภาพ โดยกรมสนับสนุนบริการสุขภาพ ได้กำหนดแผนการส่งเสริมพัฒนาธุรกิจบริการสุขภาพ โดยเฉพาะสปาเพื่อสุขภาพให้มีคุณภาพตามมาตรฐาน เข้าสู่มาตรฐานสถานประกอบการสากล โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเพิ่มขีดความสามารถการแข่งขันในระดับนานาประเทศ ซึ่งเป็นกลยุทธ์หนึ่งที่จะทำให้สถานประกอบการเพื่อสุขภาพมีมาตรฐานที่สูงขึ้นกว่ามาตรฐานตามประกาศกระทรวงสาธารณสุข สามารถตอบสนองความต้องการของผู้ที่มาใช้บริการที่มีความแตกต่างกันออกไปตลอดจนเป็นการสร้างรายได้เพิ่มขึ้นให้กับประเทศ และทำให้ไทยเป็นศูนย์กลางของสุขภาพ เอเชีย กรมสนับสนุนบริการสุขภาพจึงทำเกณฑ์มาตรฐานรองรับคุณภาพสถานประกอบการสปาเพื่อสุขภาพ เพื่อจะได้นำไปจัดระดับของสถานประกอบการเพื่อสุขภาพ แบ่งเป็น 3 ระดับได้แก่ Platinum , Gold และ Silver ทำให้ผู้บริโภคสามารถเลือกได้ตามความต้องการ โดยสถานประกอบการสปาเพื่อสุขภาพที่สนใจสามารถดูรายละเอียดการสมัครได้ที่ www.thaispa.go.th
